I wrote an open letter to myself, detailing all my personal, often strange, shortcomings as a youth desperate to stand out from the crowd, with oversized clown sweaters from the Goodwill, secondhand hospital scrubs, and hair every color of, not a rainbow, per se, but perhaps a young child’s finger painting of a rainbow.
